10.06.2010

Dear reader,

It has been a busy fortnight in TPi World with editor-in-chief Mark Cunningham travelling to Antwerp for the début demo of Martin Audio’s new MLA line array, while Ric Ashton and I headed off to the UK’s tribute act festival ‘Glastonbudget’, where we were treated to the talents (ahem!) of ‘Blurb’, ‘Oasish’ and the fairly impressive ‘Four Fighters’.

Real talent was rife behind the scenes where OneBigStar had invited Shuttlesound to cater for the PA and Roland Systems Group to equip the VIP tent with a ‘silent stage’ for bands to rehearse. All this and more coming in the July issue (are we really working on July already?!), but before that the June issue will be out soon with reports of the mighty Michael Bublé production, the multi-media spectacle of The Chemical Brothers’ album launch at the Roundhouse, La Roux and much, much more…

For photos of Glastonbudget and to view a podcast of Mark Cunningham’s trip backstage at Michael Bublé, join our Facebook page here.

And read on for the industry’s breaking news…

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch,

Many thanks,
